Dr. Pamela Casperino
Dr. Casperino wanted to be dentist since grade school. Her child hood dentist was frightening and would threaten to use gas on her if she didn’t sit still and be quiet. She remembers on the way home, after those visits, how unnecessary it was for him to treat her in such a fashion. At that point Dr. Casperino decided that she wanted to become a dentist and treat people with care and understanding their fears.
In addition, Dr. Casperino has always enjoyed all forms of artistic creativity and has been able to implement them into her dental skills. Dr. Casperino feels the first feature people notice about you is your smile, making it a very important aspect of your appearance. Whether you prefer straight white teeth or a characterized interesting smile, this says who you are. Her goal is to give patients what they are looking for and make them feel good about themselves.
Dr. Casperino received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. She graduated in three years on top of her class. While there, she was asked to participate in experimental studies in hope of discovering medicines to aid in the fight against cancer. She continued onto Fairleigh Dickinson Dental School and graduated with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree in 1986. While in dental school, Dr. Casperino received a Certificate of Merit in Pediatric and Prosthetic Dentistry and maintained a 3.8 grade point average. Dr. Casperino is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Seattle Study Group. After graduating she worked in a private practice for three years alongside another dentist. She and her husband decided to go out on their own and started a practice in Totowa, New Jersey in 1989.
Dr. Casperino has been in practice for over 25 years and enjoys the aesthetic aspect of her practice. She enjoys performing cases which include multiple aspects of dentistry.
